where party king Gai Behar meets GAGA in Sharon Eyal's trance dance

INTO THE HAIRY.

ØSTRE GASVÆRK THEATRE

30. maj 2024 – 1. juni 2024

INTO THE HAIRY INTO THE HAIRY was created in collaboration with the phenomenon Gai Behar, who has been behind a number of famous electronic music events. The performance will be an intense trance rave with newly composed music by the UK's electronic shooting star KORELESS.

The expressive club dance merges with the instinctive GAGA universe of performing arts in Sharon Eyal's latest work, which for one evening transforms Østre Gasværk Theater into an electronic club scene.

SHARON EYAL SHARON EYAL began her career as a dancer in the Batsheva Dance Company and quickly became Ohad Naharin's muse. Their collaboration became so strong that he appointed Sharon Eyal as Batsheva's house choreographer, where she choreographed 16 new works for the company.

In 2009, the invitations began to roll in from, among others, the Staatsoper Berlin, the Paris Opera, the Nederlands Dans Theater (NDT) and the Gothenburg Opera's Danskompani.

Sharon Eyal created her own company L-E-V in 2022. L-E-V visits Østre Gasværk Theater with one of her latest works Into The Hairy, which premiered at the Montpellier Festival in 2023.
