On the 3rd and the 4th of June, the star dancers from the Paris Opera will come to visit København Danser at Østre Gasværk Theatre. On this occasion, Cinemateket and København Danser would like to focus on the Paris Opera company with a film about dance, an introduction to the festival and selected guests.

Den franske feel-good film ‚En corps‛ handler om den lovende balletdanser, Elise, fra Pariseroperaens kompagni, som bliver skadet i en alder af 26 år. Da hun får at vide, at hun ikke længere kan danse professionelt, søger hun nye veje. Det leder hende i retning af en ny kærlighed og ind i en verden af moderne dans.

In connection with the film, København Danser will interview a former ballet dancer Alexander Kølpin about the transition to a new working life. The conversation will be in Danish and will last approx. 20 minutes.
