THE STUDIOS
København Danser Studios is a vibrant drop-in dance space located in the heart of Østerbro, in the heart of Copenhagen. Our mission is to create a welcoming and inspiring space where movement, artistry, and community come together. We offer a wide range of classes designed to meet dancers of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels. Whether you are taking your very first ballet class, returning to dance after a long break, or looking to refine your technique at a professional level, our studio provides an environment that supports both personal growth and artistic expression.
CLASSES
Our class offerings are carefully curated to meet the diverse interests of both Copenhagen and the international dance community. Ballet training is available at all levels, from beginner to advanced, taught by experienced instructors who emphasize both technique and musicality. Contemporary dance is another cornerstone of our program, with classes offered in a variety of styles that explore guided improvisation, technique refinement, and phrasework. For those seeking balance and inner calm, we also host mindfulness and meditation sessions, which complement the physical demands of dance and provide tools for mental clarity and well-being. In addition, our dance-based exercise classes are designed to energize, strengthen, and bring joy to anyone looking for a creative way to stay active.
WORKSHOPS
In addition to our regularly scheduled classes, we also host a wide range of workshops designed to give dancers the chance to immerse themselves more deeply in a specific style, technique, or creative process. These workshops are open to all levels and are a wonderful way to explore something new, refine your skills, or be inspired by a fresh perspective.
A highlight of our workshop program is our ongoing collaboration with the internationally acclaimed companies and artists whom we invite to Copenhagen each year as part of the København Danser Festival. When these world-class companies are in town to perform, they also step into our studios to share their artistry with our community. This means that local dancers get the rare opportunity to learn directly from some of the most innovative and celebrated voices in the global dance scene.
RENTALS
København Danser Studios is not only a home for classes and workshops—it is also available for rentals. Our bright, spacious studios in Østerbro can be reserved for a variety of purposes, from long-term regular bookings to short-term project use. We offer flexible rental options to accommodate different needs, including hourly, daily, and weekly rates. Each studio is equipped with sprung floors, mirrors, sound systems, and plenty of natural light, creating the perfect atmosphere for creativity and movement.

Our philosophy is simple: dance should be accessible, joyful, and transformative. We encourage our students to build a routine that resonates with their individual goals—whether that means pursuing dance as a career, deepening a passion, or simply moving for the sake of health and happiness.
